SCHOOL DELAYS OR CLOSURE INFORMATION - With the winter weather upon us, it is important to know how you can learn if school will be delayed or closed due to poor road/weather conditions (or other extenuating circumstances).  Announcements can be found on a variety of media outlets including television, radio and the Internet.  TV station announcements can be found on KATU, KOIN, KGW and KPTV.  For radio you can tune to KLCK 1400-AM, Y102.3-FM, KACI 103.9-FM and 1300-AM.   You can also get delay or closure information from the Flash Alert website.  A decision to initiate a delay (usually a two-hour delay) or close school completely will be made no later than 6:30 am.

BUSSES AND INCLEMENT WEATHER - Road conditions due to inclement weather can call for adjusted route times.  When the weather is poor, if you are early in the route the bus could arrive ahead of schedule to help adjust for a longer drive time to school.  Please allow for variance in arrival times between 5 to 8 minutes.  As always, please be extra careful around busses, but if the ground conditions are slick take extra precaution when approaching the bus. Safety is our top priority. Sometimes road conditions make it necessary for routes to be identified as "snow routes" (listen or read announcements on the media sources listed above).  If your route is listed as on a snow route, please follow the new times and locations provided by your driver.

If you have any questions about the school's inclement weather plans/protocols, please contact the school office or your bus driver.
